At Strandbad Edam, there is a place to stay for everyone. Choose a spacious tourist spot, near or overlooking the Markermeer, a cozy hiker's cabin, or a spot on the hiker's field with your small tent.

At Strandbad Edam, you can enjoy plenty of fun and sports. There are plenty of facilities, such as a playground, children's pool, slide, surf pier, table tennis, boules, and bike rental. For a bite to eat and a drink, visit Paviljoen Strandbad Edam and the snack bar.

Check-in and check-out
For camping on our tourist pitches and the hiker's field, you can check in from 1:00 PM. Check-out is possible until 11:00 AM.
For the cabins, slightly different times apply: check-in from 2:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM.
Opening hours
In 2026, we will be open from March 27 to September 30.
The opening hours of the day recreation area are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Our address is Zeevangszeedijk 7A, 1135 PZ Edam.
Navigation tip: Edam has narrow streets and bridges. When you arrive on the N247, turn off your navigation system, take the 'Edam-Noord' exit, and follow the signs for 'Camping Strandbad' for the easiest route.
